VESTESEN A/S Vestesen A/S has one of the world's leading technology within wind-diesel systems with high wind penetration. The projects range from 100 to 10,000 kW. The company acts in a global market, where contacts worldwide make it possible to work on all continents in very remote areas. Often, the electricity in these remote areas is not connected to a grid. The electricity also can be unstable or very expensive. This gives Vestesen the opportunity to deliver individually adapted wind-diesel systems producing inexpensive quality electricity 100% of the time. Normally, the wind turbines will reduce the diesel consumption with 50-90% Beyond producing electricity the system can be made to produce fresh water from sea water or similar. Fresh water production capacity is in the order of 7 to 120 m3 per day at low performance and 50 to 1,000 m3 per day at high performance. The wind-diesel concept can be connected to an existing grid or installed as a containerised stand alone system. Founded in 2002, Vestesen today employ 3 people in Viby near Århus, Denmark. This is the administrative part of the company only. Production, installation and service will be done by 10-15 other people.
