The price for a wind-diesel system will very much depend on the consumer's power demand and other needs like desalination and heating. To calculate the prices on these wind-diesel systems we use a calculation programme. Before we can calculate the price we need different kinds of data, e.g. wind speed, consumer power demand and measured height for the wind speed. Some of the most important results the programme come out with are the kilowatt-hour price before and after payback, wind penetration, fuel saving, the total price for the wind-diesel system and key figures for environmental benefits.
