Facts about the wind-diesel system on the island Ruhnu in Estonia
In 2008 Danvest Energy A/S installed and commissioned a wind-diesel system on the island Ruhnu in Estonia - see pictures here. The system consists of 2x75 kW wind turbines and 1x120 kW diesel generator set.

There will be made further adjustments to the wind-diesel system to optimise
it to run in all kinds of wind regimes. In the period from September 2008 to January 2009 the wind penetration of the system has been as follows:
